Collection: The Orca Otter Urchin Kelp Collection

Kelp gardens are like watery forests that protect many ocean species. Sea otters eat a ton of sea urchins which eat kelp. In places where sea otters have disappeared, the urchins will eat the kelp forest until it’s gone. They leave behind desolate areas called urchin barrens. If orcas eat otters because they can’t find what they normally eat, it throws the Kelp ecosystem out of balance. This collection is dedicated to these amazing creatures.
